Primary Purpose of Position

  • To provide support for the Conference Services Department, assisting on projects as needed.

Administrative Tasks

  • Answer phone calls & gather guest information.
  • Enter all leads in Delphi, communicate them with DCCOS on a timely manner.
  • Keep up-to-date information on wall calendar.
  • Assist DCCOS and Conference Services manager in creating Sendsites for prospects.
  • Organize wedding pictures on the Sonnenalp Drive, download new pictures and acquire photo releases when needed.

Marketing Tasks

  • Perform weekly market research for groups coming to town, find out contact information and relay information to DCCOS.
  • Create copy for diverse catering sales projects.
  • Assist DCCOS in prospecting and qualifying leads.
  • Assist Conference Service team in creating themed experiences for groups.

 Coverage & Banquet Tasks

  • Be available for event coverage when needed.
  • Distribute pop up BEOs and place signage.
  • Supervise set up of rooms and banquets when needed to ensure quality and presentation

Education/Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent required (GED)
  • College degree in hospitality preferred
  • Desire to work in a hotel sales department

Special Skills/Equipment

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced position with expectations of meeting production deadlines.
  • Computer proficiency
  • FDC (Sales Force) preferred but not required.
  • Adobe Creative cloud Particularly In Design and Photoshop
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher).
